This is an adults only (19+) event!
This lush and dense forest-way is a well maintained CRD park with signs at nearly every major fork. As it is easy to follow, hikers can create their own route to Pickle Bluff near the east side of the park for a spectacular view of North Saanich and the ocean. While there is no view at the actual summit of the hill itself, there is a stunning lily pond at the northern tip of the park that makes for an incredible photo op! Overall, hikers enjoy an easy stroll through the park which feels more like rolling hills that could lead to Fern Gully, thanks to the manmade rock staircases throughout. Perfect for a hot summer day. Parking at this particular trailhead is VERY sparse (accommodates maybe 3 cars), but it is possible to park alongside the road.
